    John Daigle

Bonus: What's new in RoboHelp Next

    Session description:

One of the biggest challenges for an author is to help the reader find the most relevant content. Users can be overwhelmed as they wade through huge knowledge bases and often give up looking out of frustration. Now authors can direct readers to the right content with filters for categories such as roles, location, etc. While some faceted navigation principles are universal, John will use the Dynamic Content Filtering techniques unique to Adobe RoboHelp (2017 Release) to demonstrate these tips.

In this session you'll learn how to:

» Let your end users “self-select” the content they want to locate

» Create content categories (such as Roles, Locations, Product Segments, etc.)

» Deliver personalized content, customized “on the fly”, including the Table of Contents, Index and Search to deliver the most relevant content

» Deploy these filter techniques in Responsive HTML5 Design Layouts (which are easily customized)
